Papercraft Rose Template

CA$12.00

The rose, a beautiful flower and one of the strongest symbols of love and passion around the world. To many, giving a rose is a declaration of love and devotion. That’s probably because they are such an excellent metaphor for love. Their intricate spiralling petals and pleasant fragrance are as beautiful as the purest love. Yet like love, a rose is a very fragile thing and easily ruined. Last, their thorns remind us that love can sometimes be painful.

This stunning papercraft model captures the delicate beauty of the real thing, so it’s perfect to give to someone you love or for use as a household decoration. It’s important to note however that this model is rather challenging and not intended for beginners, on a 1 to 10 scale it’s probably an 8.

What you get:

  • A printable pdf template containing all the parts you’ll need.

  • DXF and SVG files for use with craft cutting machines.

  • PNG files specifically made for Cricuts print then cut feature. (note: print then cut will require more paper than listed below.)

  • Illustrated instructions showing how to put it together, step by step. (You can preview the instructions here.) There is also a video guide on my youtube channel here: https://youtu.be/eaJNQJEebVo

What you Need:

  • Paper - 4x red 8.5”x11” sheets, 2x green 8.5”x11” sheets (or your choice of colours!)

  • Glue

  • Scissors/craft knife/craft cutting machine

  • Tweezers

Assembled Dimensions:

Roughly - L: 6.38” x W: 3.50” x H: 11.46”

Tips:

  • The leaves are optional. The nubs they attach to will simply look like thorns if they are left out.

  • Be careful with the stem, while it has an internal support structure, any major dents may still weaken it to the point it won’t stand up on its own.
